ABOUT ME
After graduating from Pratt Institute's Graduate Communications Design program at the end of 2007, I was freelancing full time with the Museum of Modern Art, taking on a variety of projects, including designing MoMA stationery items, bookstore signage, product packaging, as well as assisting with a wallscape for the SoHo and Tokyo Design Stores.
I have recently taken the Art Director position at RUSSIA! Magazine - the 132-page quarterly focusing on strong design and irreverent humor. Russia! delivers the most original coverage of people, trends, ideas and events which take place in Russia. The first year has just come to a close and the Summer 2008 issue (my first) is available at certain bookstores around the globe.
Continuing to work freelance with the MoMA, I am also always interested in working with companies or individuals on other design projects. Currently I have written and illustrated a book of animal poems for children, titled A Bovine's Wine.
I have
taken an
active interest traveling extensively over four continents, experiencing new cultures and traditions, and meeting as many people as possible. I believe this helps considerably in communicating and designing more effectively.
